OviTex PRS devices are purposely engineered
for consistency out-of-package, featuring:

Controlled Stretch

The naturally low elastin content of the ovine source material and built-in slits allow optimal stretch that locks out to limit indefinite stretching.³

Permeability

Multiple permeability elements have been added to the already open and porous construct allowing rapid cellular infiltration while facilitating fluid management.^1*

Ease of Handling

Once hydrated, the device is easily sutured, trimmed and may be placed with either side facing the defect.

Drapability

The naturally soft collagen matrix easily conforms and smoothens against three dimensional surfaces when fully hydrated.
